In 1922 a split between the FIGC and CCI organisations saw the title awarded to two different teams.

In 1927 Torino were champions but later stripped of the title because of match fixing allegations.

In 2006 Juventus were stripped of their two title wins in 2005 and 2006 because of match fixing allegations.

The 2005 title was left unassigned (as in 1927) and the 2006 title was awarded to Inter Milan who
finished 3rd but were the highest ranking team not to be punished in the match fixing case.
