Profile:
Febian Brandy is a small but speedy and skillful forward capable of running at defenders. Manchester born and raised, Febian was spotted playing for his local boys team at the age of nine and was invited to training at the Cliff.

A broken leg disrupted the start of his 2005/2006 campaign and further injuries throughout that season limited his appearances for the U18s. However he has progressed to be a regular in the Reserves throughout the 2006/07 season and has put in some impressive performances.

Frazier Campbell

Profile:
Fraizer Campbell joined United as a junior in July 2004 and was top scorer for the Academy Under-18s. An agile striker with plenty of pace by 2006 was playing for the reserve team. He played in Roy Keane's testimonial match in 2006 and in the 2006/07 pre-season, scored his first goal for the first team against Macclesfield Town after coming on as a sub for Wayne Rooney .

At the beginning of 2006/07 he was sent to Royal Antwerp FC, where his goal-scoring exploits saw the fans give him the nickname "Super Campbell". On August 8th 2007, Campbell scored against Glentoran for Manchester United in a first-team pre-season friendly. He made his full Manchester United debut in the Manchester derby on August 19th 2007 at the City of Manchester Stadium as a sub for Michael Carrick.

Profile:
Currently Manchester United's youth team captain, Cathcart is central defender who is good at tackling and strong in aerial challenges. He signed as a trainee at Manchester United in July 2005 after attracting interest from clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Rangers.

He has played for Northern Ireland at Under-17 and Under-19 level and has been an unused substitute for 4 first team matches in season 2006-2007.

Chris Eagles

Profile:
Eagles, dubbed in some quarters as 'the new David Beckham', was welcomed into the Manchester United first team reckoning in late-October 2003 when handed the squad number 33.

The right-sided midfielder, who began his career in north London with Watford made his debut for the Red Devils in the Carling Cup victory at Leeds United at the age of 17. He likes to take on the defender in the Ryan Giggs mould and get to the byline. Chris spent time on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and Watford between 2005 and 2006.

In 2006-2007 Eagles agreed to spend four months on loan at Dutch team NEC Nijmegen but by December Eagles had returned to United after struggling at Nijmegen to get many games.

On 28th April 2007, Eagles scored his first senior goal for United in a 4-2 Premier League win over Everton after coming on as a second half substitute. He made a full start a few weeks later against Chelsea on the 9th May.

Darron Gibson

Darron Gibson is an imposing central midfielder with fine shooting ability, who can operate both in a defensive or attacking role. He joined Manchester United as a junior from Irish League minnows Institute in 2004 but quickly made his first-team debut as a sub on 26th October 2005 in a League Cup clash against Barnet. In May 2006 he was voted as the Manchester United Youth Team player of the year.

Gibson was was sent on loan to the Royal Antwerp for the 2006-07 season and subsequently to Wolverhampton Wanderers in October 2007. He is perhaps most famous for the controversy surrounding his international football. Although born in Northern Ireland and representing the country at youth level, Gibson opted to play for the Republic of Ireland. He has since captained their under-21 side and earned a full cap in last a Euro 2008 qualifer in Slovakia.
Kieran Lee

Profile:
Lee is a full-back and captain of United's reserve team. Kieran was given his first taste of first team football when he came on as a second half sub against Celtic in Roy Keane's testimonial. Good performances in the reserves have won him the captain's armband.

During the 2006-07 pre-season friendlies, Kieran made two appearances for the first team, coming on as substitute in the 2-1 defeat to Preston North End and playing the full 90 minutes in the 2-1 victory over Macclesfield.

Lee made his competitive first team debut on 25th October 2006 against Crewe Alexandra in the League Cup and he scored a late winner two minutes before the end of extra time to give United a 2-1 win.

He made his full Premiership debut, playing right back at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea on 9th May, 2007 and capped a fine season by winning the Manchester United Reserve Team Player of the Year 06/07 award.

Danny Simpson

Profile:
Right back Danny Simpson is another product of the United youth system and could well become a first team regular in the future. He joined the the reserve squad in 2005 and in January 2006, like so many young United players he was loaned to the Royal Antwerp in the Belgian 2nd division club. On return in July 2006 he impressed in a South African tour match for the 1st team against Kaizer Chiefs. In January 2007 he loaned out to Roy Keane's Sunderland and returned to United in the summer.

Simpson signed a new 3 year contract in August 2007 and made his first competitive appearance for the Red on 26th September, 2007 in a 2-0 Carling Cup loss to Coventry City. He then made his Premiership debut on October 6th against Wigan Athletic at Old Trafford, coming on as a sub for John O'Shea.
